Sonoma Wine Tasting from Three Local Appellations
We host small, intimate Sonoma wine tasting at our Sebastopol estate winery and vineyard. Our wines come from appellations known for producing acclaimed cool-climate white wines and Pinot Noirs. All our wines are made from grapes grown in these four American Viticulture Areas (AVAs).
Sonoma Coast Winegrowing Region
Sip our acclaimed Hillside Pinot Noir, our single vineyard Clone 828 Pinot Noir, and our single vineyard Estate Grown Pinot Noir, all made from Sonoma Coast grapes, which are grown in a thick marine layer that allows the grapes to hang longer on the vines.
Sonoma Russian River Valley Winegrowing Region
Taste our acclaimed wines made from Russian River Valley Grapes, including Three Sons Pinot Noir, our single-vineyard Farm Pinot Noir, Balletto Chardonnay, Dry Gewurztraminer, and Dry White Zinfandel.
Sonoma Mountain Winegrowing Region
Sip our 95+ single vineyard Sonoma Mountain Pinot Noir, an acclaimed red wine awarded Double Gold at the San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition for multiple vintages and Double Gold from the North Coast Wine Competition.
Vineyard Wine Tastings
As we taste through our wines, we invite you to taste the nuances in the aroma and flavor of our Pinot Noirs, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Dry White Zinfandel, and Chardonnay. We’ll also explore the benefit of wine tastings with food pairings, to lift, enhance, and add complexity to your winery experience and transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
When you're tasting wines, flavor is an amazing thing. It can evoke emotions and memories and we’ll help to create new memories on this exclusive Sonoma vineyard wine tasting journey.

Taste Sonoma Wines
The Halleck Wine Tasting Experience does not take place in a traditional wine tasting room. You'll be at our production facility with a window to view the wine as it is being made, and inviting you in is a warm gesture of friendship and intimacy. This authentic, unpretentious setting is part of what makes our Burgundian Pinot Noir wine tasting experience so unique.
Sonoma Vineyard Winery Tastings
Established in 2002, our sustainable vineyard and wine tasting room in Sebastopol was the first in the region. As the winegrowers and winemakers responsible for the oldest vineyard in the region, we feel exceptionally qualified to provide first-hand insight into what makes our single vineyard wine tasting experience so unique.
Inner Circle members can continue to visit our Sebastopol vineyard for a complimentary tour with their friends and family.
Sonoma Wine Region
You'll learn about the magic of this winegrowing region, from the morning fog that blankets our vineyard, to the winemaking process that lends such diversity and character to our wine tastings.
We'll also invite you to join our Inner Circle to acquire an allocation of our most coveted vineyard wines to please your tastes.
Live the Sonoma Wine Tasting Dream

Sonoma Wine Tasting FAQ
We make a variety of authentic Pinot Noirs, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Dry Gewurztraminer, Dry White Zinfandel and Chardonnay.
These grape varietals grow well in cool, foggy climates like West Sonoma County, which is typically blanketed in a thick marine layer.
Wind pulls the fog in through a gap in the mountains at the Sonoma Coast, and that fog travels through the West Sonoma county appellations of Sebatapol and Russian River Valley on the North to the Petaluma Gap on the South.
Yes to both! You will sip premium Sonoma wine with local culinary delicacies.

We're in the greater Sonoma Valley area, but the Sonoma AVAs we source grapes from are the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma Mountain, the North Coast appellations in Sonoma County.
While all of our Pinot Noir wines are made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from their appellations, our cuvée wines blend premium varietals from different vineyards in those regions.
- Russian River Valley
- Sonoma Coast
- Sonoma Mountain
- North Coast
Other than our Russian River Valley Chardonnay, we make Russian River Sauvignon Blanc and Dry Gewurztraminer. We also make a Dry White Zinfandel, but this is actually a rosé wine that incorporates some of the color from the grape skins, but not enough to qualify it as a red wine. And it's too pink to be considered a white wine. All our Sonoma wines are made from grapes grown locally.
Yes! But since we are a small lot winery, our wines do sell out relatively quickly. So not all current releases are always available.

We discourage guests from bringing young children. Our Russian River Valley Wine Tasting Sonoma County experience lasts 90 minutes and that’s a long time for a young child to sit unattended. We love kids. We have our own. But children and wine are not 100% compatible, and as a courtesy to all guests, we prefer to keep our Sebastopol wine tasting experience to guests 21 and over.
Unfortunately, we are not a wheelchair-compliant winery. It is possible to wheel around to the side of our deck, but there are 2 steps you need to get up to access the deck. We do not have a ramp. Also, our bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.
